Elvira Barkhatova is Associate Professor at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. With a PhD in linguistics, she works across linguistics, neurolinguistics, Spanish studies, cognitive neology, lexical semantics, word formation, and cognitive linguistics. Her research also addresses manipulation in language, lexical beauty, and the detection of manipulative features in media texts.
